The JDPC Ijebu-Ode received support from various other on-shore and off-shore donor partners in the course of 2010. The partners and the projects they supported are listed below:

  • Canadian Catholic Organisation for Development and Peace (CCODP): The CCODP provided institutional support for the JDPC Ijebu-Ode in 2010. The mission of this partner, according to its website, is to “support partners in the Global South who promote alternatives to unfair social, political and economic structures. It educates the Canadian population about the causes of poverty and mobilizes Canadians towards actions for change. In the struggle for human dignity, the organization forms alliances with northern and southern groups working for social change. It also supports women in their search for social and economic justice.” Picture above: Bishop Albert Ayinde Fasina, Chair of the JDPC Ijebu-Ode Board of Trustees, poses with a delegation from the CCODP on a visit to the JDPC Ijebu-Ode in 2010.
  • MISEREOR : Lent institutional support to us in 2010. Misereor “supports the weakest members of society: the poor, the sick, the hungry and the disadvantaged. It is of no importance whether those in need of help are men or women, what religious beliefs they hold or where they come from. To love one’s neighbour is a basic attitude of Christian life, and MISEREOR’s vocation is to translate this attitude into concrete action; the poor are our sisters and brothers, who have a right to a life of dignity. MISEREOR supports them in realising it.”
  • Kinder MISSIONSWERK : Die Sternsinger supported our Youth Empowerment Project
  • PACT-USAID ADVANCE : Our Budget Monitoring Project
  • The UNHCR : Our Refugees Project
  • OXFAM GB : Our Agriculture Budget Advocacy Project
  • EU-INSIDE : Our Monitoring of the Conditional Grants Scheme
